I have learned and experienced a lot over the last few months. It's hard to believe that my idealism took a beating in the face of harsh reality. I'd like to think that love conquers all, but now, I guess I know that maybe love - by itself - just isn't enough. Still, after this long trial, I know that my idealism - in some shape or form - cannot be shattered, just because I guess...I always wanted to believe in the good of the world. I just wanted to see the best in people. Their greatest strength. (Now, whether that's a good idea is an entirely different matter).

Anyway, I'd like to think that the worst is over. I can only hope.

On un-related notes:
- I resigned from my job almost a week ago
- I watched the season finale of Temptation Island 3 yesterday, and I enjoyed it. (It's a little surprising because I am not much of a fan for reality TV shows, or television in general, for that matter)
- The Boston Red Sox made it to the post-season! Admittedly, I am not a big baseball fan (my brother is), but I am darn glad that the Sox made it to the playoffs! (Needless to say, I am Boston fan!) Go Red Sox! :)
